This Privacy Policy describes how Tacklesense (the "App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad. Tacklesense is designed to be fully private and 100% offline.
Nothing. The App does not collect, transmit, store on any server, or share any personal information, location data, fishing inputs, photos, or usage analytics.
All forecasting, scoring, and recommendation logic runs entirely on your device. The App makes no network requests — it does not connect to any backend, third-party service, or analytics provider.
The App stores your preferences and inputs locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This includes:
This information never leaves your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the App.
If you purchase Tacklesense Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never see your payment information, Apple ID, or any personally identifying data. Your subscription status is delivered to the App through Apple's StoreKit framework and verified on-device only.
To manage or cancel your subscription, use Apple's subscription settings.
The App may request access to the device barometer (motion sensor) to read live atmospheric pressure for the forecast. This reading is used only on-device and is never stored or transmitted. The App requests no other permissions — no location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or notifications.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no information is collected at all, the App is safe for use by anyone.
The App uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or tracking tools. The only external system it interacts with is Apple's App Store, exclusively for delivering and verifying Tacklesense Pro subscriptions.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the App's update notes.
